are hundreds of pages that have no waste. The Association for the Development of Culture of Defense (materials suitable) has proposed a project which was one of the
subsidies annually awarded by the Ministry of Defence, through the Directorate General for Institutional Relations, to encourage initiatives focused on the Culture of Defense. This project was none other than a textbook for students of ESO.
For four months, a group of people knowledgeable about the subject, many of them regular contributors Legio XXI has worked selflessly in the various chapters of the agenda. Among them, we highlight the general Salvador Fontenla, colonels Camacho, Crespo-French and Manrique, noncommissioned officers and volunteer reservists, the journalist José Javier Esparza and writer Guillermo Rocafort. The work was coordinated by Juan Antonio Aguilar and the editorial director of Legio XXI, Sara F. Zurita.
matter consists of seven areas, dense, but the highlights include the Culture of Defense: the concepts of nation, state and country, the structure of National Defence, Army, Navy and Air Force, EMU, Civil Guard, reservists, military values, military traditions, international assignments and the role of the military within a democratic state like the English constitutional order.
The prologue, addressed to both teachers and the potential students, is Professor of History at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and member Royal Academy of Doctors, Emilio de Diego, a specialist in Contemporary History of Spain.
As the self Emilio de Diego in the foreword: "Few issues contribute more to training and education for all. The school, at any level, has preferred instead to promote the teaching banish the false statements. This book will be a useful tool to fill the void of information and knowledge on national defense, but at the same time for students to have a tighter sense of what the Nation, in this case Spain, one of the most glorious few exist and have existed.
